This large project involved the complete refurbishment of an old Cotswold farmhouse, construction of a large modern glazed side extension and a part cantilevered timber clad back extension. The landscape work included construction of a new access and car park for the site, extensive dry stone walling, levelling of lawns, creation of new steps and terraces, tree work and planting. Additional work has involved looking at refurbishment options for the large 2 storey Cotswold barn on the site.

Rupert has project managed all aspects of the project after architects secured planning permission for the building works. He has been responsible for liaising with engineers for the required building structure, and also producing all the necessary working drawings and details for implementation of the building works. The works involved both steel framed and timber cantilevered construction with floor to ceiling glazed doors and windows. He has managed all the on-site sub-contractors who carried out the building work through to completion, which included groundworks, drainage systems, the high quality stone masonry work required and all internal building works.

Rupert also designed and supervised all the extensive garden and car parking works.

Work is currently in progress looking at the options for refurbishment of the old 2 storey Cotswold barn on the site.
